Paleo cookies

A lot of people in the crossfit community eat a paleolithic diet. The people at my gym are no different. So when I wanted to make something delicious for them, it was quite a challenge to find a recipe for a paleo cake that I thought was good. I tried making paleo cake two times before, and I failed miserably both times. This time, however, was a succes. I made paleo cookies, they are not crispy but soft like a cake. I brought them to the gym, and when I was done with my workout I had one. A guy who hadn't heard that I had brought paleo treats looked very funny at me and asked: "Are you eating a brownie?" I thought that was really funny, it must have looked pretty strange that someone would eat a brownie right after working out. It is not exactly the best recovery snack.

Mange personer i crossfit verdenen spiser efter stenalderkosten, også kaldet paleo. Menneskerne i mit fitness center er ikke forskellige. Så da jeg gerne ville lave noget lækkert til dem, var det en udfordring at finde en opskrift på paleo kage som jeg synes var god. Jeg har to gange før prøvet at lave paleo kage, men det er gået virkelig dårligt begge gange. Denne gange var heldigvis en succes. Keg lavede paleo småkager, de er ikke crispy, men bløde som en almindelig kage. Jeg tog dem med til træning, og da jeg var færdig med træning, ville jeg også have en. En fyr der ikke havde hørt at jeg havde taget paleo lækkerier med, så rigtig underligt på mig og spurgte: "Spiser du en brownie?" Jeg syntes det var rigtig sjovt, det må have set ret sjovt ud at nogen ville spise en brownie lige efter træning. Det er ikke rigtig den bedste recovery snack.
